From the Founder
At Tennis Anyone we are passionate about our sport because we have enjoyed so many of the benefits of being involved in the game over the years. Like no other sport, tennis seems to be on its own in bringing families together. It is a sport that truly can be enjoyed for a lifetime and played all around the world. The name "Tennis Anyone" of course came from the old cliche, however, we selected it because we knew that it spoke for everyone. We have worked hard to establish programs for players at all ages and levels. We love what we do and we are passionate about our sport and our students!

Coach Bill
Coach Bill Bush grew up in Upland, California and started playing tennis at the age of 10 when his father traded tennis lessons for physics tutoring with a high school neighbor named Rick Vargas.
“I can remember our first lesson vividly. Rick would feed me the ball and I would intentionally blast it over the fence into the grass field behind the courts. At first I had no interest in playing tennis, but after a while I really started to love it. By the time I had been playing for a few years you couldn’t drag me off the courts. By the time I was 16 I was competing at the upper levels of the game in Southern California, playing against and training with players such as Pete Sampras, Micheal Chang, and John McEnroe.  During my Softmore year Summer I lived at the premier tennis training academy in Florida, Nick Bollettieri's, and roomed and trained with a then young Andre Agassi. I went on in Southern California to be ranked in the Boy's 18's number 25 in Singles and number 1 in Doubles.  I was a fairly good singles player but because of very fast hands at the net, truly excelled in doubles.  Later I would go on to have my best professional results on the double's circuit.  After sustaining a knee and shoulder injury I decided to pack up my professional ambitions and attended Azusa Pacific University on a tennis scholarship and graduated with a degree in Psychology. Looking back over the journey I can honestly say that tennis changed my life for the better.  I was a very curious teenager with lots of potential to get into trouble but tennis and my tennis goals truly helped to keep me on the right patch.
“After college I had to make a decision as to weather or not I was going to keep teaching tennis. There was some pressure to move on and get what was considered to be a real job. I thought a lot about what I wanted out of a career and life. I knew that I loved working with people and helping them. I also felt that tennis was such a tremendously positive way for youngsters and adults to learn about life...to have a constructive outlet for stress...and lend to families a means of recreation together.”
Our truly unique system of learning, created by Tennis Anyone Founder, Bill Bush, involves 7 levels much like you'd find in a martial arts program. Each level is represented by a unique animal, distinguished by its positive attributes. Students are tested at the end of every session and those that pass recieve a patch representing mastery of that level.
Our Learning System
Creating tennis products has been an awesome experience for us, because the motivation has always come from enhancing the experience of the player. Selling those products has always been an after thought. The ACE Tennis Workbook was born out of years of creating helpful projects for our tennis students until finally it made more sense to put them together into an interactive book.
Our clothing and apparel line came out of the frustration of always proudly dawning surfing and skating apparel to school, and meanwhile sneaking off to play tennis. We finally got to a point where we decided to give tennis players the option of representing our great sport with cool attire. Who knows, maybe one day, non-tennis players will be proudly strutting thier stuff wearing their tennis digs.
